Dr. Kim is Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture Oriental medicine (NCCAOM).
He has been a licensed physician in the State of Florida since 1997 and in the State of Georgia since 2008.
Dr. Kim is a member of CAQH. All of Dr. Kim’s qualifying information has been submitted and researched for verification by this not-for-profit third-party physician credentialing organization.
Dr. Kim has received numerous recognitions for his community service by the Korean American Association of Orlando, Florida and by the Korean American Association of Greater Atlanta.
Dr. Kim is a member of the American Acupuncture Council.

The Diplomate of Acupuncture ( NCCAOM - Dipl.Ac ) training and competency is in sharp contrast to the acupuncture training of other healthcare professionals such as chiropractors or registered nurses or even medical doctors who typically receive 100-300 hours of abbreviated training. These other healthcare professionals only treat a limited number of points. NCCAOM certified acupuncturists are also trained in standard medical history gathering, safety, and ethics, and recognition of when to refer patients to other health care professionals or consult with other medical practitioners.
